Yes, we have a reception. It is staffed during opening hours from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. During the low season, our NatureTALENTS can be reached from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

With every room booking at Naturhotel Chesa Valisa, you receive far more than just a place to stay. Our guests can look forward to a mindful getaway – offering everything that strengthens body, mind, and soul.

Twice daily, yoga sessions with experienced instructors are held. Guided meditations and the deeply relaxing Crystal Sound Bath provide additional inner calm. Aquafitness in the AlpinSPA or mindful forest bathing in the serene woods surrounding the hotel also bring renewed energy and clarity.

In summer, we invite you on guided hikes together with the Kleinwalsertal Mountain School. In winter, snowshoe tours through the snowy landscape offer a sensory experience for all. Your mobility is also taken care of: mountain lifts are free to use in summer, as is the Walserbus (summer & winter) throughout the valley.

Culinary delights await with our 3/4 BIO-Vital half-board – featuring a hearty breakfast buffet, a light lunch buffet with salads, raw vegetables, and soups, as well as a fine dinner menu in the best organic quality. The tea bar and fruit baskets are available free of charge.

After an active or indulgent day, our AlpinSPA invites you to complete relaxation: with a heated outdoor pool, sauna, steam bath, relaxation rooms with panoramic views, and soothing infusions scented with forest and warmth.

Yes, our hotel has elevators in the main building, the Chesa building, and the chalet, allowing you to easily access many areas of the hotel. If you have any questions regarding accessibility, we will be happy to assist you personally at +43 5517 5414.

During certain periods, such as New Year’s Eve or the Carnival holidays, a minimum stay applies. Our reception team will be happy to provide you with more information – you can reach us at +43 5517 5414.

Main Building: This is where the restaurant and bar are located.
Chesa Building: This is where the AlpinSPA and yoga rooms are located. The main building and Chesa building are connected.
Chalet: The chalet is free-standing and not connected to the main building or Chesa building. Changing rooms are available in the AlpinSPA.

Arrival by train

We are very pleased if you decide to travel by train/bus and will gladly provide you with a free arrival and departure ticket from/to Oberstdorf main station. You will receive the ticket automatically by e-mail 3-2 days before your arrival. Please print it out and hand it to the bus driver when boarding the bus. You will not have to pay anything on the bus. When you are on the bus, please call us on: 0043 5517 54140 and we will pick you up from the Hirschegg-Walserhaus bus stop as a service of the house.

The Walserbus runs every 10–20 minutes from Oberstdorf to Kleinwalsertal. Just give us a quick call when you board the bus in Oberstdorf – we will then pick you up conveniently at the “Walserhaus” bus stop.

As a thank you, you will be provided a E-bike (per room) for one day free of charge in summer or cross-country skiing equipment in winter. As well as a piece of Walser mountain cheese as a gift from us for your kilometre asceticism on the day of departure.

Parking

Parking in the underground car park: € 10 per day
If the car key is handed in during the entire stay: €5 per day

Parking on the hotel grounds (outside): €5 per day
If you hand in your car key during your entire stay: free of charge

If you give us your car keys during your vacation, we will give you a piece of “Walser Bergkäse” as a thank you on the day of your departure.

Check- In until 15:00 (day of arrival)
You would like to check into your room earlier? Book the Early Check-In for 80.- Euro per room. The room will then be ready for you from 12:00 noon.

Check-Out until 10:30 a.m. (departure day)
Are you a late riser and would like to stay longer in your room on your day of departure? Book the late check-out for 20 euros per hour. Your room will then be ready for you until 13:00.

You can find the current offers on our information board in the hotel lobby. Please sign up in advance on the corresponding lists at the reception/lobby. We kindly ask for your understanding that in case of a no-show without prior cancellation, a €10 blocking fee will be charged to your room.

Yes – as part of our “Time for Me” sessions, we offer private yoga therapy sessions daily (by arrangement).

Whether you are new to yoga or experienced, our skilled instructors tailor each session individually to your needs, physical condition, and preferences. Small groups are also welcome.

Not necessary – we are happy to provide everything you need for your practice: yoga mat, cushion, strap, and block are all ready for you.

If you prefer to practice on your own mat, you are of course welcome to bring it.

Outside of class sessions – and depending on availability – our yoga rooms are open for your personal use. And if you wish to continue at home, our hotel shop offers high-quality yoga mats and other accessories.

We offer yoga sessions twice daily – in the morning and late afternoon. These are included in the room rate and open to everyone, whether you practice regularly or are just starting out.

Our experienced team of seven yoga instructors brings sensitivity and variety to each session. If you would like a practice tailored to your individual needs, we also offer private yoga sessions. These can be booked at the reception – €78 | 60 minutes.

Yes, rental and return are handled at the reception from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Most activities in our activity program take place in (almost) any weather – because even rain, snow, or fog have their own special charm. If the weather is really unfavorable, we offer a suitable indoor alternative.

On both arrival and departure days, you can fully enjoy our lunch buffet as well as the AlpinSPA – a relaxed way to start or end your stay.

The AlpinSPA is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. On Mondays and Saturdays, we extend the quiet hours until 10:15 p.m.

At lunchtime, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., we serve a warming soup from the soup pot, accompanied by a generous organic salad and raw food buffet.

Yes, in the AlpinSPA you will find several thoughtfully designed relaxation areas – some with panoramic views of the mountains, others quiet and secluded. This allows you to choose the perfect spot to breathe, unwind, and let go, depending on your mood.

Starting summer 2026, you can look forward to even more favorite spots – our AlpinSPA will be expanded, offering even more space for peace, open views, and soothing quiet.

The schedule for our sauna infusions can be found in the activity program or displayed on-site in the AlpinSPA. Our team will also be happy to provide you with the current times in person. No registration is required – you can simply join at the scheduled time.

We greatly appreciate timely bookings, ideally in advance. This allows us to better accommodate your preferred times and plan your treatments accordingly.

Yes, we have an Ayurveda doctor at the hotel. For several years, Dr. Dinu from Kerala has been treating guests according to Ayurvedic tradition. At the age of 34, he came to the Kleinwalsertal and has been guiding and treating our guests ever since.

The Panchakarma cure is the heart of classical Ayurveda. It is a profound cleansing treatment that brings body, mind, and soul into balance. The term “Panchakarma” literally means “five actions” – referring to five detoxification procedures through which the body is gently freed of burdensome substances.

At Naturhotel Chesa Valisa, the cure is individually tailored to your constitution (Dosha) and closely supervised by the Ayurveda doctor. Daily treatments, diet suited to your type, periods of rest, and movement in nature support the cleansing process.

The Panchakarma cure is suitable for anyone who:

• feels tired, overworked, or out of balance

• wants to reduce chronic stress

• wants to strengthen digestion, the immune system, or metabolism

• seeks deep regeneration – completely without pressure

Whether for prevention, regeneration, or a fresh start – we guide you mindfully on your path back to inner clarity and renewed strength.

The Ayurveda treatments included in your package will be scheduled by our reception team. You will receive a detailed plan upon check-in. If you would like to book additional treatments, you can do so in advance by phone at +43 5517 5414 or on-site at the reception.

Our restaurant hours:

Breakfast buffet: 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

Lunch: 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Warm dishes from the soup pot with a large salad and raw food buffet are included for our guests. Additionally, we offer hot and cold specialties, including our “daily special” (for an extra charge).

Afternoon: 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. – Homemade strudels and cakes, specialty coffees, ice cream, and small savory dishes (for an extra charge).
Tip: Don’t miss our delicious Kaiserschmarrn!

Dinner: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Fine 5-course menus, awarded by “Gault&Millau”. Starters and salads are available from the buffet (served or self-service). The meal concludes with a fine dessert and a selection of cheeses from the buffet.

Absolutely! At breakfast, there is a dedicated Ayurveda corner, and in the evening, there is always an Ayurvedic menu option – prepared by our Ayurveda chef from India.

Yes, upon request we are happy to prepare lactose- or gluten-free meals for you. Please let us know when booking so we can best accommodate your needs. Our kitchen team cooks with great care – always fresh, organic, and balanced.

Floor plans are exemplary, even rooms of the same category are not always identical. The chalet is not connected to the main house and the house Chesa. All prices plus guest tax € 4,40 per day for adults over 14 years. Please note our General Terms and Conditions. Short bookings and weekend/holiday bookings subject to availability only. Price on request, different from the price list.

You can settle your bill with us in cash, by debit card (daily limit €5,000), or with VISA or MasterCard. Vouchers can also be paid for via PayPal through our voucher shop.

Early bird rate | -10%

Bookable up to 60 days before arrival. We ask you to transfer an advance payment of 100% of the total amount to us for this rate. No change or cancellation can be made after booking. At the moment of booking you accept that the full price of the stay will be transferred to us by bank deposit. This amount is non-refundable in case of cancellation or change of dates of stay.

Non cancellable rate | -5%

Bookable from 89 days before arrival. We kindly ask you to send us the full amount by bank transfer. Upon receipt of the total amount, your booking is considered confirmed. No changes or cancellations can be made after the booking has been made. At the moment of booking you accept that the full price of the stay will be charged. This amount is non-refundable in case of cancellation or change of dates of stay.

Minimum stay from 4 nights to 14+ nights | -5-12%.

We ask you to make an advance payment of 40% of the total amount to us for this rate. No cancellation can be made after booking. With a rate difference, a rebooking is possible up to 7 days before arrival. This amount is non-refundable in case of cancellation or change of dates of stay. In case of cancellation, 100% of the amount will be charged.

Of course, all amenities are also available for our youngest guests at Chesa Valisa:

Whether it’s a baby crib, a diaper bin, or a changing mat in the room, as well as the rental of child carriers or strollers for hiking and walking. Plenty of high chairs are available in our restaurant.
All of these services are, of course, included for you.

For Your kids:
Our house has an outdoor playground with swings and a sandbox, a children’s playroom with lots of toys and a corner to romp around, as well as a pool table, table football and a table tennis table. For hours spent together, board games are at your disposal. Children are welcome to use our wellness area including swimming pool until 16:00. The tourist office offers other unforgettable adventures for children & teenagers.

Even for our youngest guests the Chesa Valisa naturally offers all amenities.
Be it a baby bed, a nappy pail or the changing mat in the room, but also the rental of children’s cradles or buggies for hiking and walking. In our restaurant there are enough high chairs for children available.
All the above services are for you, naturally included.

We are happy about every child and therefore the children’s prices always remain the same. No matter if vacation season or not:

Our heated outdoor pool, open all year round, is available daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. – on Mondays and Saturdays even until 10:15 p.m.

You swim in energized, ionized spring water – a unique experience that is soothing in every season. From 6:00 p.m., nude swimming in the outdoor pool is permitted. Please also note our AlpinSPA “Star Hours” – special times dedicated to peace and mindfulness.

Children may use the BioSauna (60 °C) until 4:00 p.m. when accompanied by an adult. The Finnish sauna and the relaxation area on the first floor are reserved exclusively for adult guests – for undisturbed relaxation in soothing quiet.

Your dog is also welcome to enjoy a vacation with us in the pet-friendly room category. One dog per room is allowed; we charge €20.00 per day, plus a €25.00 final cleaning fee.

If your dog is alone in the room, the sign “Dog is sleeping” will be placed on the door so that your dog can enjoy its well-deserved rest. If your dog is not in the room, please place the sign “Dog is out for a walk.” This allows the NaturTALENTe team to clean your room until 3:00 PM without disturbing your dog.

If the weather turns colder, your dog is welcome to relax comfortably in the lobby. Of course, your dog may also stay on the terrace and enjoy the sun. Dogs are not allowed in the wellness area, restaurant, bar, or fireplace lounge.
