The way to the Vorarlberg Alps
Directions to Naturhotel Chesa Valisa****s
Are you travelling to the southern Oberallgäu and Kleinwalsertal for the first time? Or would you simply like to know where the wonderful holiday region around the Naturhotel Chesa Valisa is located? We will be happy to show you the way to us. And we look forward to pampering you in our hotel soon.
If you are travelling from the Allgäu on the B19, pass the Geiger roundabout in Oberstdorf and head towards Söllereck and Kleinwalsertal. After the Walserschanz, cross the border into Austria. About 5 minutes later you will reach the first village in Kleinwalsertal: Riezlern.
Drive through Riezlern and reach the Breitach bridge. Continue along the Walserstrasse until you reach the next village, Hirschegg.
The centre of Hirschegg is the Walserhaus, the tourist information office. Turn right into the first street after the Walserhaus and follow the Gerbeweg. After about 200 metres you will reach the Naturhotel Chesa Valisa****s.
Electric petrol station
Your electric car is also well catered for here. Seven charging stations are available in our underground car park. Please let us know when you make your reservation so that we can reserve a parking space for you.
Parking in the underground car park: €8 per day
When returning the car key, during the entire stay: €4 per day
Parking on the hotel grounds (outside): €3 per day
When returning the car key, during the entire stay: free of charge
If you hand in your car keys during your holiday, you will receive a piece of ‘Walser Bergkäse’ cheese as a thank you gift on the day of departure. Please park your car so that as little space as possible is taken up.
The Naturhotel is located about 14 km from Oberstdorf railway station in the Allgäu. The bus station is located directly opposite Oberstdorf main station, where you can change to the Walserbus (main line 1) in the direction of Kleinwalsertal.
After about 30 minutes travelling time you will reach the bus stop Hirschegg/Walserhaus. From there it is just 300 metres to the Naturhotel, which is situated at an altitude of 1,200 metres. Hirschegg itself is 1,122 metres above sea level.
We are very happy if you decide to travel by train and bus and will be happy to provide you with a free arrival and departure ticket from/to Oberstdorf main station. The ticket will be sent to you automatically by e-mail 2-3 days before your arrival.
Please print it out and show it to the bus driver when boarding. You will then no longer have to pay anything on the bus. If you are on the bus, please call us on +43 5517 54140 and we will pick you up from the Hirschegg-Walserhaus bus stop as a service from the hotel.
As a thank you, you will receive an e-bike (per room) in summer and cross-country skiing equipment (per room) in winter for one day free of charge. As well as a piece of Walser mountain cheese for your kilometre ascesis on the day of your departure.
