Directions to Naturhotel Chesa Valisa

Are you travelling to the southern Oberallgäu and Kleinwalsertal for the first time? Or would you simply like to know where the wonderful holiday region around the Naturhotel Chesa Valisa is located? We will be happy to show you the way to us. And we look forward to pampering you in our hotel soon.

By car

Coming from the Allgäu on the B19, simply leave Oberstdorf on your left after the Geiger roundabout and drive over the Söllereck in the direction of Kleinwalsertal. After the Walserschanz you are in Austria and after approx. 5 minutes by car you will reach the first village in Kleinwalsertal – “Riezlern”. Once you have driven through Riezlern, you will reach the Breitach bridge. Here you follow the road (you are still on the Walserstrasse) and drive to the next village “Hirschegg”. The central point of this village is the “Walserhaus” – the tourist information centre. Take the first right after the Walserhaus and follow the Gerbeweg.

After approx. 200 metres you have reached the Naturhotel Chesa Valisa****s.

We ask you to park as space-saving as possible.

Electric petrol station
Your electric car is also well catered. 7 electric charging stations are waiting for you in our underground car park. Please let us know that you are travelling with an electric car when you make your reservation so that we can reserve a parking space for you.

By train

The nature hotel is located around 14 km from Oberstdorf railway station in the Allgäu. The bus station is located directly opposite Oberstdorf main station. There you can change to the Walserbus (main line 1) Oberstdorf-Kleinwalsertal.

After approx. 30 minutes you will reach the bus stop Hirschegg/Walserhaus, now it is only 300 metres to the Naturhotel. The Naturhotel is situated at an altitude of 1,200 metres. Hirschegg itself is 1,122 metres above sea level.

We would be delighted if you decide to travel by train/bus and will be happy to provide you with a free arrival and departure ticket from/to Oberstdorf main station. The ticket will be sent to you automatically by e-mail 3-2 days before your arrival. Please print it out and hand it to the bus driver when you board the bus. You will then not have to pay anything on the bus. If you are on the bus, please call us on: 0043 5517 54140 and we will pick you up from the Hirschegg-Walserhaus bus stop as a service.

As a thank you, you will receive a regular mountain bike for one day free of charge. As well as a piece of Walser mountain cheese for your kilometre ascesis on the day of departure. The team at the Naturhotel Chesa Valisa looks forward to seeing you!
