The Naturhotel Chesa Valisa has two seasons. The hotel is closed from mid-April to mid-May and from mid-November to mid-December.

At the Naturhotel Chesa Valisa, our reception is at your service and is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. During the off-season, our NaturTALENTe staff are available from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Every room booking at the Naturhotel Chesa Valisa includes much more than just an overnight stay:
Look forward to a mindful break with yoga (twice daily), meditation, crystal sound baths, aqua fitness, forest bathing and much more.

Depending on the season, we also offer guided hikes (summer) and snowshoe tours (winter). In summer, you can use the mountain railways free of charge, and the Walserbus is included all year round.

Culinary delights await you with our 3/4 organic vitality board, including breakfast, a light lunch buffet and evening menu. Tea bar and fruit are also available free of charge.

Relaxation is guaranteed in our AlpinSPA with heated outdoor pool, sauna, steam bath and relaxation rooms with panoramic views.

The Naturhotel Chesa Valisa is not wheelchair accessible. As it is a historic building, several areas can only be reached via steps, and the bathrooms and wellness areas are also not wheelchair accessible. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.

The buildings at Naturhotel Chesa Valisa are not all connected to each other. The main building and Haus Chesa are directly connected.

Our chalet is detached and located approx. 50 metres away – accessible via the beautiful Naturhotel garden.

Main building: This is where the restaurant and bar are located. The main building is connected to Haus Chesa.
Chesa building: This is where you will find our AlpinSPA and the yoga rooms. The Chesa building is connected to the main building.
Chalet: The chalet is not connected to the main building or the Chesa building. Changing rooms are available in the AlpinSPA.

The underground parking garage is not connected to the hotel.

The Naturhotel has parking spaces both outside and in the underground car park. Electric charging stations are also available.

Parking fees:

Underground car park: £10 per day – if you hand in your car key: £5 per day
Outdoor parking space: £5 per day – if you hand in your car key: free of charge

If you do not move your car during your stay, we would like to thank you for your contribution to environmentally friendly mobility: on the day of departure, you will receive a piece of Walser organic mountain cheese – ‘cheese for kilometre asceticism’ and parking costs half as much.

If you leave your car at the Naturhotel Chesa Valisa during your holiday, you will receive a piece of Walser organic mountain cheese as a thank you on the day of departure – ‘cheese for kilometre asceticism’.

At Naturhotel Chesa Valisa, we offer WiFi in the following room categories:

Are you a late riser and would like to stay in your room longer on the day of departure? Book late check-out for £20 per hour. Your room will then be available until 1:00 p.m.

All yoga classes offered by Naturhotel Chesa Valisa are listed on the information board in the hotel lobby. Please register in advance at reception/in the lobby. Please note that if you do not show up without prior cancellation, a blocking fee of €10 will be charged to your room. Here you can get an insight into the Naturhotel activity programme 

Day guests are also welcome to participate in yoga sessions at the Naturhotel Chesa Valisa, subject to availability. Please register in advance at reception so that we can reserve a place for you.

At the Naturhotel Chesa Valisa, yoga mats and other yoga equipment, such as yoga straps, yoga cushions, blocks, and much more, are of course available free of charge.

Outside of class times – and depending on availability – our yoga rooms are open for you to use freely. And if you want to continue at home, you will find high-quality yoga mats and other accessories in our hotel shop.

At Naturhotel Chesa Valisa, yoga sessions are held twice a day – in the morning and late afternoon. The classes are included in the price of your stay and are suitable for all guests, regardless of whether you practise yoga regularly or would like to try it for the first time.

Our experienced team of seven yoga teachers designs each session with great sensitivity, variety and mindfulness.

If you would like a practice tailored to your individual needs, we also offer private yoga sessions. These can be booked at reception: €78 | 60 minutes.

You can also hire sports equipment at the Naturhotel Chesa Valisa.

Equipment can be collected and returned at reception between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Most of the activities in the nature hotel’s activity programme take place in (almost) all weather conditions – because even rain, snow or fog have their own unique charm.

• Laconium: gentle heat (55°C) with high humidity – relaxing and calming

On the day of arrival and departure, you can enjoy the lunch buffet and the AlpinSPA at the Naturhotel Chesa Valisa to the fullest – a relaxed start or end to your stay.

The AlpinSPA is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. On Mondays and Saturdays, we extend the relaxation period until 10:15 p.m.

For lunch, we serve a warming soup from the soup pot from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. – accompanied by a generous salad and raw food buffet that is 100% organic.

The Naturhotel Chesa Valisa offers several lovingly designed relaxation areas in the AlpinSPA – some with panoramic views of the mountains, others completely quiet and secluded. This means you can choose the right place to breathe deeply, switch off and let go, depending on your mood.

From summer 2026, you can look forward to even more favourite spots – our AlpinSPA is being expanded and will then offer even more space for relaxation, panoramic views and soothing tranquillity.

The times for the Naturhotel Chesa Valisa sauna infusions can be found both in the activity programme and on site at the AlpinSPA. Our team will also be happy to inform you personally about the current times. Registration is not required – you can simply participate at the specified time.

We would be delighted if you could book in good time, preferably in advance. This will enable us to better plan and accommodate your preferred treatment times.

At the Naturhotel Chesa Valisa, we have an Ayurvedic doctor on site. Dr Dinu from Kerala has been treating people according to Ayurvedic tradition for several years. He came to Kleinwalsertal at the age of 34 and has been accompanying and treating our guests ever since.

The Panchakarma cure is the heart of classical Ayurveda. It is a profound cleansing treatment that brings body, mind, and soul into balance. The term “Panchakarma” literally means “five actions” – referring to five detoxification procedures through which the body is gently freed of burdensome substances.

At Naturhotel Chesa Valisa, the cure is individually tailored to your constitution (Dosha) and closely supervised by the Ayurveda doctor. Daily treatments, diet suited to your type, periods of rest, and movement in nature support the cleansing process.

The Panchakarma cure is suitable for anyone who:

• feels tired, overworked, or out of balance

• wants to reduce chronic stress

• wants to strengthen digestion, the immune system, or metabolism

• seeks deep regeneration – completely without pressure

Whether for prevention, regeneration, or a fresh start – we guide you mindfully on your path back to inner clarity and renewed strength.

The Ayurveda treatments included in your package will be scheduled by our reception team. You will receive a detailed plan upon check-in. If you would like to book additional treatments, you can do so in advance by phone at +43 5517 5414 or on-site at the reception.

We are also delighted to welcome non-hotel guests to our restaurant at the Naturhotel Chesa Valisa.

Breakfast (7:00–10:00 a.m.)

Our extensive organic breakfast buffet is also open to external guests. For €30 per person (children up to 12 years €15), you can enjoy a varied selection of homemade spreads, muesli, fresh bread and pastries, regional sausage and cheese specialties, juices, smoothies, “golden milk,” egg dishes, and numerous vegan and gluten-free options.

Lunch & afternoon (12:00 p.m.–4:30 p.m.)

With the Walser ABO (€16 per person), you can expect a large salad and raw food buffet, seasonal soups, and a selection of fine main courses. In the afternoon, we serve coffee and homemade cake, Kaiserschmarren, and apple strudel on our sun terrace or in the fireplace room.

Thanks to our location right next to the Heubergarena slopes, you can enjoy ski-in/ski-out convenience.

Evening (6:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.)

We also welcome external guests in the evening. Our daily changing gourmet menu starts with salads and appetizers from the buffet, followed by soup or smoothie and a main course of your choice – classic, vegan, or from Ayurvedic cuisine. Sweet desserts and an organic cheese platter round off the evening.

As a special highlight, we also offer fondue chinoise with organic veal, beef, and chicken, including homemade dips, fries, and seasonal vegetables (€55 per person).

Breakfast buffet from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m.

Lunch from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.: Hot dishes from the soup pot with a large salad and raw vegetable buffet.
We also offer hot and cold delicacies, including our ‘dish of the day’ (for an additional charge).

Afternoon from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm: Homemade strudel + cakes, coffee specialities, ice cream and small savoury dishes (for an additional charge).
Tip: Don’t miss our delicious Kaiserschmarrn!

Evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.: Fine 5-course menus, awarded a toque by ‘Gault&Millau’. Starters and salads from the buffet
(served or self-service). To finish, we serve a fine dessert, accompanied by a selection of cheeses from the buffet.

At the Naturhotel Chesa Valisa, you can start your day mindfully with breakfast in our Ayurveda corner. In the evening, we also offer an Ayurvedic menu option, freshly prepared by our Ayurvedic chef from India.

At Naturhotel Chesa Valisa, we are happy to offer lactose-free and gluten-free meals on request. Please let us know about any food intolerances when you make your booking so that our kitchen team can cater to your needs as best as possible.

Lactose-free / milk protein-free
For an enjoyable start to the day, our extensive breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of milk substitutes such as oat, soy, rice or coconut milk, as well as warm vegan porridge and homemade vegan spreads. Dinner is also taken care of: one option on our 5-course menu is always prepared lactose-free. We are also happy to prepare other lactose-free dishes or menus for you.

Gluten-free
A gluten-free break is also no problem for us: you can start your day gluten-free in the morning with freshly baked gluten-free rolls and warm porridge. Allergens are always clearly labelled on our menus, and one option of our 5-course evening menu is always gluten-free. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer special meals for guests diagnosed with celiac disease at the hotel.

Our kitchen team cooks with great care – always fresh, organic and balanced.

The visitor’s tax is €4.40 per day for adults aged 14 and over.

Bookable up to 60 days before arrival. We ask you to transfer an advance payment of 100% of the total amount to us for this rate. No change or cancellation can be made after booking. At the moment of booking you accept that the full price of the stay will be transferred to us by bank deposit. This amount is non-refundable in case of cancellation or change of dates of stay.

Non cancellable rate | -5%

Bookable from 89 days before arrival. We kindly ask you to send us the full amount by bank transfer. Upon receipt of the total amount, your booking is considered confirmed. No changes or cancellations can be made after the booking has been made. At the moment of booking you accept that the full price of the stay will be charged. This amount is non-refundable in case of cancellation or change of dates of stay.

Minimum stay from 4 nights to 14+ nights | -5-12%.

We ask you to make an advance payment of 40% of the total amount to us for this rate. No cancellation can be made after booking. With a rate difference, a rebooking is possible up to 7 days before arrival. This amount is non-refundable in case of cancellation or change of dates of stay. In case of cancellation, 100% of the amount will be charged.

Children are wonderful – and have always been part of our family at the Naturhotel Chesa Valisa. At the same time, many guests come to us to find peace and relaxation.

To ensure that everyone feels comfortable, we kindly ask families to be considerate of others.

Please observe the following rules:

• Quiet areas: Families with children are welcome to use the ground-floor relaxation room and the garden loungers. The relaxation rooms on the 1st floor are reserved for adults.
• Pool: Children may only use the pool when accompanied by a supervising adult. Please speak quietly in the pool area.
• Sauna: Sauna area for ages 16 and up. The entire area is nudist – swimwear is not permitted in the sauna.

Your dog is also welcome to enjoy a holiday with us in the pet-friendly room category at the Naturhotel Chesa Valisa. One dog is allowed per room, for which we charge €20.00 per day, plus €25.00 for final cleaning.

If your dog is alone in the room, please hang the ‘Dog sleeping’ sign on the door so that he can enjoy his well-deserved rest. If your dog is not in the room, please hang the ‘Dog out walking’ sign. This will allow the NaturTALENTe staff to clean your room by 3 p.m. without disturbing your dog.

If it gets colder outside, your dog is welcome to settle down and relax in the lobby. Of course, they are also allowed on the terrace to enjoy the sun.
Dogs are not allowed in the wellness area, restaurant, bar or fireplace room.

Travelling to Naturhotel Chesa Valisa by train:
We are delighted if you decide to travel by train/bus and will be happy to provide you with a free ticket for your journey to and from Oberstdorf main station. If you order in advance, you will automatically receive the ticket by e-mail 3-2 days before your arrival. Please print it out and give it to the bus driver when you board. You will then not have to pay anything on the bus. Once you are on the bus, please call us on 0043 5517 54140 and we will pick you up from the Hirschegg-Walserhaus stop as part of our hotel service.

As a thank you, you will receive an e-bike (per room) free of charge for one day in summer or cross-country skiing equipment (per room) in winter. We will also give you a piece of Walser mountain cheese as a gift for your asceticism on the day of departure.

The Naturhotel Chesa Valisa is located in Hirschegg in the Kleinwalsertal valley (Vorarlberg, Austria).

In winter, you can stay with us right next to the Heubergbahn ski slope (Ski-In/Ski-Out). In summer, numerous hiking trails start nearby – ideal for active days in the mountains. If you are travelling by car, you will need to drive through Germany, as the Kleinwalsertal valley can only be reached from there. There is no toll.

We do not offer a pick-up service from Oberstdorf railway station to the Naturhotel Chesa Valisa. The Walserbus runs every 10–20 minutes from Oberstdorf to Kleinwalsertal. Just give us a quick call when you board the bus in Oberstdorf and we will pick you up at the ‘Walserhaus’ bus stop.
